Parte del motivo per cui ci siamo ritornati,oltre al fatto che è la città più bella del mondo,è stato assistere al Comic-con ,ovvero una convention enorme dedicata a fumetti,serie tv,film di un certo tipo(fantasy,sci-fi...)videogames e tutta la roba che piace ai nerdoni come me ed il Khal.
La gran parte dello spettacolo era rappresentata,secondo me,dall'enorme massa di cosplayers accorsi per partecipare,tipo ad esempio:

| Spiace non averne una foto migliore,allo stand della Weta vendevano una statua PAZZESCA del Balrog(da Il signore degli anelli),per chiunque avesse 600 $ che gli avanzassero e nessun problema di spazio in valigia. Non il nostro caso :/ Bad pic(sorry!),at the Weta stand they sold a terrific statue of the Balrog (from LOTR) to whomever had 600 spare $ and no problem of room in his luggage. Sadly,those weren't us :/ |
E veniamo adesso ad un altro dei motivi per cui siamo andati al Comicon:i cosiddetti panel,ovvero delle presentazioni di film e serie tv,con attori,registi,showrunners, delle quali però non siamo riusciti a vedere la principale,ovvero quella su The walking dead,perchè alle 7 di mattina(aprivano alle 10 o 10.30,non ricordo)la coda era già una cosa inumana,e noi non abbiamo l'età nè la voglia di dormire fuori dal centro per avere i posti in coda al mattino(molti fan lo fanno).Abbiamo quindi tristemente rinunciato,riuscendo però a vedere:

| Three hours in line,and i had to watch the panel before this(Once upon a time) to get a chair in a decent row,but i managed to see Ed Norton in the Birdman panel!Sorry for the bad pictures,but my Khal abandoned me,and i only had my cell phone :/ 3 ore di fila,ed ho dovuto guardarmi il panel prima(Once upon a time-bleah)per avere un posto decente,ma sono riuscita a vedere il mio adorato Ed Norton nel panel di Birdman! Purtroppo ho solo le foto fatte col cellu,perchè il Khal mi aveva abbandonato XD |

C'era anche la possibilità di acquistare gli autografi fatti davanti a te dalla celebrità di turno(e farcisi una foto assieme),ma sinceramente 88$ per una foto col capitano Kirk,anche no, grazie.De Il trono di spade c'erano solo Hodor e Podrick,ma di loro mi interessava talmente poco,che già 44 sacchi non li ho spesi.Se per quei soldi ci fossero stati Tyrion o Danaerys,allora FORSE!
There were also photo(and autograph)opportunietes available,but for not so low a price.Captain Kirk 88$,no,thanks!From Game of thrones only Hodor and Podrick came,and i'm not so into them to think of spending even those 44 bucks;i would have for Tyrion or Danaerys,maybe.

Non vediamo l'ora di organizzare un viaggio per vederne un altro(puntiamo su Chicago),è stata davvero un esperienza incredibile :))))
