Recensione fondotinta minerale Neve - Mineral foundation by Neve : review

Spinta da una superofferta sul prodotto in questione(1,95€,ultimissimi pezzi),ho acquistato il fondotinta in polvere minerale di Neve cosmetics.Avevo già provato secoli fa quello della Bare minerals,e già avevo avuto modo di capire che non era un tipo di prodotto adatto alla mia secchissima pelle,ma essendo un pò de coccio e visto che me lo tiravano dietro,ho voluto riprovare con questo della mia amata Neve.

Driven by a great deal on this product,I purchased the mineral powder foundation by Neve cosmetics.I'd already tried the Bare minerals one, centuries ago, and already knew that it wasn't a kind of product suited to my very dry skin, but stubborn as i am, I wanted to try this anyway.

Mi sono detta:sarà il momento che finalmente inauguro il mio bellissimo Catbuki,pennello acquistato in un impeto d'entusiasmo circa 2 anni fa e mai estratto dal cassetto.

Delitto anche perchè il pennello in questione è STUPENDO.Oltre ad essere bellissimo secondo me(ho una passione sfrenata per i gatti e il verde),è supermorbido,roba da passarselo sulla faccia per mezze ore anche senza doversi mettere nulla,così,per svago.

I said to myself : it's time to finally inaugurate my beautiful Catbuki brush, bought in a fit of enthusiasm about 2 years ago and never removed from the drawer.
A crime! also because the brush in question is AWESOME.Beautiful to me(I have an unbridled passion for cats and green ), it's super soft,i could sweep it on my face for half hour without having to put anything , just for fun .

Non mi restava attaccato alla faccia neppure un pochetto,ok che ho la pelle secca,ma insomma!Quello della BM era comunque + "aderente",questo qua sulla mia pelle non restava proprio :/

So the first time i grab the brush,dip it in the powder,I begin to pass it on the face ..... nothing.I put more,swipe it again...nothing.It just didn't stay on my face, not even a little bit;ok, I have dry skin, but come on! The Bare minerals one did stick on my skin anyways. 

La seconda volta, prima di metterlo ho applicato un primer viso lisciante della Sephora,di cui avevo dei campioni  e che se volete vi recensirò:

The second time, before I put it on I applied a smoothing face primer by Sephora, which I had a sample of and that if you want i'll be reviewing : 

risultato indubbiamente migliore,però andava un pò a quel paese il discorso di usare una cosa naturale per il viso,anche perchè questa base è proprio sinteticona siliconica :/

undoubtedly a better result, however, it kinda defeated the purpouse of using something natural for the face,because this is pure silicone :/ 

Finchè ho scoperto l'uovo di Colombo: dovevo usarlo bagnato.

Applicandolo con una spugnetta di lattice inumidita,il risultato è abbastanza soddisfacente,anche se io preferisco i fondotinta + coprenti e questo dà comunque un effetto abbastanza leggero,naturale.Credo sìa una mano santa per chi ha la pelle grassa o mista,sulla mia che è secca tende ad evidenziare pellicine e segnetti.

Colpa mia che ho comprato un prodotto che non nasce per la mia tipologia di pelle!Lo ritengo comunque valido e se non avete bisogno di qualcosa che copra molto potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

Until I had a lightbulb moment: I had to use it wet. 
Applying it with a latex sponge, moistened , the result is quite satisfactory, although I prefer a more covering foundation and this just gives you a natural,light effect.I believe it's a godsend for those who have oily or mixed skin,while on my dry and flaky skin it tends to highlight texture imperfections. 

My fault that I bought a product that is not intended for my skin type! However I think that it is valid and if you don't need something that covers much it could work for you.

Ed ho anche addosso il blush English rose,che mi piace molto perchè ha un colore abbastanza naturale,non "invadente".

Garnier idratante prodigiosa - 4 Garnier moisturizers

Grazie ad una segnalazione del gruppo Facebook "Gratis è bello",sono riuscita a richiedere il kit di campioncini di creme idratanti della Garnier,della serie "Idratante prodigiosa".

Quest'offerta credo sìa finita,ma vi consiglio di iscrivervi al gruppo se siete su FB,danno spesso consigli preziosissimi per avere campioni di tutti i tipi ;)

Io ho la pelle secca e sensibile,ciononostante quella che mi è piaciuta di più è quella verde,ovvero la "Crema-sorbetto per pelli miste e grasse"; sarà stata l'estate appiccicosa,ma questa crema dal profumo freschissimo e la piacevolissima consistenza mi è proprio piaciuta molto.Mi capita spesso che gli idratanti "non grassi"abbiano un fondo di appiccicume che questa non ha.

Seconda classificata,la versione azzurra: "Crema leggera idratante per pelli normali".Niente che mi faccia urlare al miracolo,buona consistenza,buona idratazione,profumo carino.Una crema ok come 3000 altre,c'è di buono che non mi fa allergia(voglio sempre provare prima le creme viso perchè mi è successo che mi facessero allergia anche marche superbuone tipo Clinique!),per cui al caso la potrei riprendere.

Terzo posto per la versione rosa:"Crema ricca idratante per pelli secche e sensibili" ,texture balsamo dicono;mah.Profumo dolciastro e non ho sentito tutta 'sta delicatezza.Sì idratare idrata,ma non la comprerei.

Ultima in classifica la versione gialla "Emulsione idratante protettiva per pelli normali,delicate o sensibili",esageratamente profumata e per me assolutamente insoddisfacente.Probabilmente se vi piacciono le creme molto profumose la apprezzerete,ma io coi problemi di sensibilità che ho,appena sento che un prodotto per il viso è carico di profumo,me ne tengo ben lontana ;)

I got 4 samples of these new Garnier face moisturizers.The only one i fully appreciated was the green one,which is officially for oily skins, mine is dry and sensitive,but its great perfume and texture really made me consider buying it again.Blue one(normal skins) was just meh,nice but as a thousand others,red(dry and sensitive) was very rich but a bit too perfumed,yellow one (normal,delicate or sensitive) was waaaay too perfumed and as i am very delicate when it comes to face products,i really would not want to use it again,ever.Even a Clinique moisturizer gave me a severe allergy reaction when i used it,and they don't come cheap!If you're into very perfumed moisturizers,you might like them,though ;)

Il trucchetto dello scotch e trucco colori caldi - the adhesive tape trick and warm colors makeup

Preparate la base(correttore,fondotinta e/o cipria,primer per l'ombretto)poi attaccate un pezzettino di scotch sul viso fra l'angolo esterno dell'occhio e la punta esterna della sopracciglia;se come me ve le ridisegnate,suggerisco di tratteggiarle prima di mettere lo scotch,così è + facile capire bene dove metterlo,e sopratutto fare sì che l'angolazione dei 2 scotch sìa abbastanza uguale ;) picchiettatelo prima un pò fra i polpastrelli,così non attacca troppo e non vi fate male staccandolo!Potete anche usare i cerotti di carta o i post-it,che attaccano meno.

Prepare the base(concealer,foundation and/or face powder,eyeshadow primer),then stick a tiny piece of adhesive tape from the outer corner of the eye to the outer side of the eyebrow;stick it a bit to your fingertips before you put it on the face,so it won't hurt when you take it off.If you wax and re-draw your eyebrows,i suggest you draw them on before you stick the tape,so it'll be easier to figure out where to put it and if the angle of both scotch tapes is even.

Stendete l'ombretto bianco sulla palpebra mobile e sotto l'angolo interno dell'occhio(Maybelline 01/snow white)e il beige sotto la sopracciglia(Sephora universal beige 08),poi con uno sfumino applicate un marrone/bronzo nella piega della palpebra(Kryolan Living color HD pigment Alexandrite),partendo dall'angolo esterno e sfumando verso il centro e verso l'alto.Potete fermarvi a metà occhio o spingervi un pò + avanti;togliete lo scotch e mettete un pochino di bronzo anche sotto l'angolo esterno dell'occhio.

Apply a white eyeshadow on the eyelid ,and just a bit below the inner corner of the eye,a beige e.s. under the eybrow,and with a blending brush apply a bronze/brown into the crease,blending inwards and upwards;you can stop in the middle of the eye,or extend it a bit further;take the tape away and put a bit of bronze under the outer corner of the eye,too.

Delineate l'occhio con l'eyeliner:qui ho usato il gel eyeliner della Essence nel colore 4,"I love NYC",uno splendido verde scuro;è un prodotto che ha un rapporto qualtà/prezzo strepitoso,costa tipo 3,5/4 €,ha una tenuta formidabile(è waterproof!),scrive benissimo ed essendo in vasetto è facile da usare anche per le meno esperte.Se avete l'occhio piccolo anzichè fare una riga continua sopra l'occhio,che tende un pò a chiuderlo,fate due mezze righette sopra e sotto l'angolo esterno.Stendete abbondante mascara.

Line the eye with a dark green eyeliner;i used the Essence Gel liner,you can find it in pots,it is dirt cheap but works great!Hope you can find it in your country :) If you have small eyes,instead of  drawing a continuous,full line above the eye,line just the outer corners of the eye,above and below.Apply mascara generously.

Per la bocca ho usato una matita color cioccolato,sfumata verso l'interno,ed un rossetto bronzo.Ci potrebbe assomigliare il n.56 di Essence ;) Usate solo un gloss se volete un insieme più leggero!

Line the lips with a chocolate lip liner,blended inwards,and apply a bronze lipstick.Just use a gloss if you're going for a lighter look! 

Mi piace tanto il trucchetto dello scotch,l'effetto dei bordi definiti è molto carino secondo me.L'ho usato anche nei trucchi qua sotto:

Come scegliere il fondotinta / how to choose the foundation

COME SCEGLIERE IL TIPO DI FONDOTINTA?

Dipende dal vostro tipo di pelle e dalla copertura che volete avere.Le pelli secche di solito preferiscono un fondotinta+ fluido,magari con elementi idratanti che aiutano a tenerlo aderente ed "elastico" sul viso,anche se,ho visto, fanno delle formulazioni compatte comunque morbide ed adatte anche alle pelli secche.Eventualmente anche i fondotinta in mousse(come Maybelline)possono andare bene per le pelli secche.Le pelli grasse invece di solito vanno + d'accordo con i compatti,magari del tipo asciutto/bagnato tipo Shiseido o Kryolan.Le pelli secche,per contro,potrebbero trovarli troppo asciutti,io per dire uso il Kryolan ma a volte,se ho la pelle + secca del solito,trovo mi faccia un pò un effetto "farinosello",per quanto sìa un prodotto di ottima qualità...

Dovete poi scegliere il prodotto che copre di più o di meno,a seconda delle vostre esigenze,e del come lo usate:se comunque vi piace passarci sopra anche la cipria,potrete prendere un prodotto + leggero,tanto farà da primer alla polvere che ci stenderete sopra;se usate solo il fondotinta(le formulazioni moderne non hanno + il bisogno assoluto della cipria sopra),dovete vedere com'è la vostra pelle,a livello di discromie da nascondere,e scegliere quello che vi è sufficente per coprire e uniformare il tutto.
Poi siete liberissime di scegliere un fondotinta leggero anche se non copre tutte le imperfezioni:magari preferite un look + naturale,e prendete un fondotinta leggero tanto per migliorare l'aspetto del viso senza essere troppo artificiose(steso bene comunque secondo me non si vede,ma de gustibus).Io personalmente amo i fondotinta un pò + fissi,ho le occhiaie e la couperose e mi piace coprire tutto.
Ci sono poi i fondotinta minerali in polvere:sono adatti a chi ha la pelle da normale a grassa,tendono ad asciugare la pelle.

COME STENDERE IL FONDOTINTA!

Calcolando che la faccia è pulita e idratata;io uso mettere la crema giorno prima di fare colazione,così si assorbe bene nel frattempo.

Per i f.ta fluidi:

Metodo 1:Apro il fondotinta,ne strizzo un pò sulle dita,spalmo bene sulla faccia.
Vantaggi:non si spreca minimamente prodotto,0 spesa per applicatori.
Svantaggi:ci si impiastra le mani,e occhio a come lo stendete.
Metodo 2:Prendete una spugnetta di lattice,inumiditela appena e strizzatela bene,metteteci sopra del fondotinta,un pò alla volta,e picchiettate la faccia fino a copertura totale.
Vantaggi:applicazione+omogenea,niente dita impiastricciate
Svantaggi:la spugnetta tende a bersi un pò di prodotto,ma se la usate ogni giorno potete lavarla 1 volta a settimana e nei giorni successivi non ne prende troppo.
Metodo 3:Adesso sono tanto di moda i pennelli da fondotinta!Ma il punto è,dopo che ho applicato il fondotinta sulla faccia col pennello,devo comunque spalmarlo con qualcos'altro(dita,spugnetta).Quindi,perchè complicarsi la vita?

Per i compatti:
Di solito hanno la loro spugnetta,quindi niente di + facile.Quelli non metteteli con le dita!Sopratutto se sono del tipo secco.

Stick:
potete usare la spugnetta o metterne un pò sul viso direttamente dallo stick e poi uniformare con le dita!

Minerali in polvere:
L'ideale è il pennello Kabuki,io un periodo lo mettevo con il piumino da cipria,può andare bene lo stesso ma col pennello viene meglio.

How do you choose the kind of foundation?
It's about your kind of skin,and how much coverage you want;Dry skins usually prefer a fluider foundation,with hydrating substances that help keep it adherent and "elastic" on the face,although i've seen there are some compact formulas that are soft and can be good for dry skin also,as well as the mousse foundations(like the Maybelline one).
Oily skins usually look better with compact,wet/dry formulas,like the Shiseido or Kryolan ones.Dry skins should avoid these because,even if they're high quality products,may look a little "flourish" as they dry on them.Same thing with the powder mineral foundation:very good on oily skins as the tend to dry them,very bad for dry skins for same reason!
You then have to choose a product that covers less or more,according to your desires,needs and how you use it:if you like to use the powder on top of it,you can choose a lighter product,it will act as a primer and coverage will layer...if you're using just the foundation(modern formulas don't have an absolute need of finishing powder above them),you have to balance your need to hide your skin imperfections and the kind of look you want to achieve;you may choose a light one for a more natural look even if your skin flaws are many,or you may pick a dense one if you like,even if you don't need to hide so much ;) as long as it is well applied and of the right color,it won't show anyway! I personally love denser ones,i have very light skin,especially in winter,and the tinier imperfection yells "heeeeeey i'm hereeeeee",so my motto is:cover it all ;)

How do you apply the foundation?
(face must be clean and well hydrated)
Fluid ones:
1)You can use your hands,no waste of product,zero expense for applicators,but be careful on how you spread it.
2)use a latex sponge,wet it a bit,squeeze it well,put some foundation on it and dab it on your face until it is all well covered.You will have a very homogeneous result and no dirty fingers.The sponge tends to drink a bit of product,but if you let it dry in an open place(don't close it humid in a box!)and use it everyday,you can wash it once a week and from second day it won't take too much in.
3)Foundation brushes...in the end,you always have to finish the applying with your fingers or a sponge.Don't complicate your life!use 1 or 2 in first place ^^

Compact foundations:
they usually have their sponge...don't use your fingers with compacts!

Stick foundation:
use the sponge or put a bit on your face straight from the stick and spread it with your fingers

Mineral foundations: 
i strongly advise a kabuki brush,a powder puff may work but with the brush it's much better!!!!

Fondotinta e correttore / concealer and foundation

Il primo consiglio che devo dare per il correttore è di scegliere bene il colore,come per il fondotinta va provato sul polso dalla parte interna:è lì che si capisce se va bene per il viso.Nel dubbio,meglio prendere la tonalità + chiara:tanto poi sopra dovrete comunque metterci qualcosa,il colpo di correttore e via non va bene,facilmente si vede e là non so se era meglio tenersi le occhiaie  O.o

Secondo consiglio:mettetene poco.
Vedo molte volte donne che stuccano stuccano stuccano,convinte che + ne mettono,+coprono le occhiaie.Sbagliato.O meglio:uno strato di correttore tende a fare le pieghette e a "prendere male" il fondotinta/cipria/quel che ci mettete sopra.Dopo che avete questo pandemonio sotto gli occhi,forse non avrete + le occhiaie,ma sembrate + rugose.
Chi vuole sembrare + vecchia alzi la mano!
Nessuno?Ecco,appunto.
Se il correttore non copre in un passaggio(sfumato bene),ne avete comprato uno fetecchioso,o avete delle occhiaie da competizione che necessitano di un prodotto + performante.Usatelo o gettatelo,ma non stratificate.

Beige o rosato?Prima di provare(e acquistare)sia fondo che correttore,guardatevi le venuzze sui polsi.Tendono al blu?avete un sottotono rosa!scegliete i toni rosati.sono verdine?avete un sottotono giallo.scegliete le tonalità+beige(non scure,intendo + gialle)

Sul fondotinta non conviene risparmiare,a volte si può trovare qualcosa di carino x pochi soldini,come ad esempio l'infallible della l'oreal,ma sotto questa marca io non scenderei.I fondotinta economici generalmente coprono male,si trasferiscono sui vestiti,e poi essendo una cosa che vi copre tutta la faccia,io dico:meglio che sia una roba decente.I fondotinta + buoni hanno delle componenti protettive(ad es contro gli UV),idratanti e/o opacizzanti,avendoli tante ore addosso la differenza si sente.Se un fondotinta è di buona qualità protegge la pelle dall'inquinamento etc etc senza soffocarla!Tante volte sento dire "nooo il fondotinta non lo metto,mi sento tutta pitturata...mi sembra che la pelle non respiri...";come tutto,ovviamente un pò è questione d'abitudine,e poi non è mica stucco!Se ne mettete una quantità giusta e stesa bene,vedrete che "l'effetto maschera" non si fa sentire!

First thing:choose the color well,as for the foundation,you'll have to try it on the skin in the inner side of your wrist:it's where you'll understand if it's the right shade for your face.When in doubt,pick the lighter one:you'll have to put something above it anyway,it will show if you're wearing the concealer only,and at that point you could as well have kept your dark circles O.o

Second thing:don't use too much of it.
I see lots of women that layer a lot of concealer,convinced that more concealer=better result.Thing is,you may have covered the circles,but you'll be all wrinkles,and foundation or powder you're using above it won't stick well.
Anybody here wanting to look older?Raise your hands!
Nobody?I guessed so ;)
If the concealer doesn't cover in a single,well blended passage,either you've bought a crappy one,or you have competition-colored DCs,and need a VERY good product to kill them.Use or throw the product,but NEVER layer it too much!

Beige or pink?Before trying on and purchasing both foundation and concealer,look at the veins on your wrists:if they look more blue,you have a pink undertone,so choose the pinker shades;if they look more greenish,you have a yellow undertone,so choose the beiges!(not darker shades,those with more yellow inside)
I strongly suggest to spend some buck more on the foundation.It is one of those makeup products where quality is very important!Good foundations have UV filters,hydrating substances,and don't make you feel like you're wearing a mask all day.It will protect your skin from pollution without suffocating it!
And won't transfer on clothes like cheap foundations always do ;)
